• Suwanee - The city of Suwanee is located 30 miles north of Atlanta and home to approximately 16,000 residents. While the city limits of Suwanee is located in Gwinnett County, Suwanee actually straddles three counties: Gwinnett County, Forsyth County and  north Fulton County. The city was honored  in 2007 when it was nominated by Money Magazine as the #10 best place to live in the United States. As a resident of Suwanee for over 22 years I can understand why. I have had the pleasure of watching city officials create a live, work and play environment while preserving the historic, small town feel so many have come to love. Suwanee is home to many city parks offering a variety of activities for old and young alike.
  
  
• Duluth - The city of Duluth  is the second largest city in Gwinnett County and borders the southern edge of Suwanee and  is located 25 miles northeast of Atlanta. Duluth is home to approximately 26,000 residents; and, has also had the honor of ranking in the top 100 best places to live according to Money Magazine.  Similar to its sister city, Suwanee, Duluth also straddles more than one county. The city limits of Duluth is located in Gwinnett County; however, the city does tumble over into north Fulton County. Duluth has its own rich history and is recognized as a model city for Gwinnett County. While experiencing its own phenomenal growth over the years, the city has been able to maintain its small town appeal and pride among the locals.
  
  
• Buford -  The city of Buford is located along the southern shores of popular Lake Lanier and borders the northern edge of Suwanee. Buford is home to over 13,000 residence. And like Suwanee and Duluth, Buford straddles two counties: Gwinnett and Hall County. The city limits of Buford is in Gwinnett County.  One of the factors which draw home buyers to Buford is the city of Buford has its own school system - separate from the Gwinnett County School System.  Staying consistent with the cities of Suwanee and Duluth, Buford was honored in 2008 by Money Magazine as the #3 best place to live in the United States. Steeped deep in history, the city of Buford dates back to 1872. Despite its growth, you will find many reminders of rich history - particulary when travelling through historic Buford and viewing some beautiful anti-bellum homes. 
  
  
• Sugar Hill -  The city of Sugar Hill is often considered many as part of the city of Buford. Other than sharing the same zip code (30518), Sugar Hill was chartered as a city in 1939. Smaller than its counter parts, the city of Sugar Hill accounts for approximately 9.2 sq miles of land mass. And, with a population of approximately 17,000 - it has seen an increase in population of  almost 42%  since 1932.  Of its three counter parts, Sugar Hill offers the more affordable real estate for sale and the city's  cost of living (7.25%)  ranks lower than average compared to the rest of the United States.
